This is to inform you that the Council Administration of Orta San Giulio has just approved a new ordinance regarding the limited traffic zone and the pedestrian zone in the city centre. The hotel is easily accessible by foot in about 3-5 minutes from the public parking

Municipal ordinance n. 20 dated 26/04/2017 has updated the restrictions concerning the limited traffic zone (ZTL) in Orta San Giulio.

Guests can access the ZTL on the following days and hours only:

MONDAY – TUESDAY – THURSDAY – FRIDAY – SATURDAY
from 07:00 to 10:00
from 14:00 to 16:00
from 18:00 to 20:00

WEDNESDAY
from 18:00 to 20:00

SUNDAY AND NATIONAL HOLIDAYS
from 07:00 to 10:00

Hotel guests are permitted access to the ZTL only during the above mentioned days and hours and only for loading / unloading their luggage for a max stay of 15 min. To avoid penalties guests must give their plate number to our receptionists. We will assist our customers in compiling a form regarding their access to the ZTL. Finally we will give them a file with a reference number issued by the local police station.
The limited traffic zone is surveiyed by licence plate capture cameras.
If the car plate number is not forwarded to the local police station or if access takes place out of the above times, guests will receive a fine.

When access to the ZTL is not permitted, guests can temporarily park their car for 30 minutes in the square called Piazza San Bernardino in the appropriate spaces for loading /unloading bags. These lots are accessible 24/7. Piazza San Bernardino lies at about 200 mt from our hotel.

After unloading your luggage, you will have to park your car in any of the nearby public car parks .We generally suggest the Multistorey CarPark in Piazzale Diania at the price of euro 10.00 for a 24 hour stay.
Otherwise, in Piazzale Prarondo, you can also find paying parking spaces (blue lines) as well as free parking spaces (white lines). Yellow lines are forbidden as they are for residents only.

The Council administration of Orta San Giulio has approved this new ordinance without warning any of the accomodation facilities; for this reason we have not been able to advise our guests with greater notice.
